My own experience is more and more filled with a sense of being called, even pulled into love by and with a Presence that is (or who is?) being all the forms appearing as my life. It is quite inexplicable. I often find myself unable to convey what is happening to me, though others sometime appear to be deeply moved by my attempts. This scene from American Beauty speaks to it as well as anything has. I feel as though I'm on the verge of the sense of completion that I've been yearning for my whole life... and yet the very yearning seems to be it's own delicious, glorious, unadvertised reward. It's quiet anonymity is almost shocking, but what did I expect? No one can see this, we are always alone in this. I am grateful to every teacher who has contributed to this grace and am humbled before it. Hallelujah.
